Chris Power was born and raised in Chester, Nova Scotia. He grew up around the marine industry, taking his first full time job as a tender operator at South Shore Marine throughout high school. Growing up Chris could be found racing with his family on their J/24 or cruising around the islands of Mahone Bay on their Boston Whaler. Chris completed a Bachelor of Commerce Co-Op degree at Dalhousie University in 2013 and has been a Yacht Broker ever since. His Commerce Co-Op degree gave him valuable work experience in the financial, automotive and the non-for profit sectors. Chris obtained his real estate license while in university but realized his real passion was in the marine industry, and decided to focus all of his efforts on selling boats throughout Atlantic Canada and beyond.
Chris is very aware of what his clients are looking for, which translates into providing the best service for his customers so they can make the most of the spectacular boating we have in the Maritimes.
“The best part of helping someone select their boat is the process. It is that moment when a client allows you to work with them, and more importantly to learn enough about them through the right discovery questions, to help them choose which product would really be the best match for them. Often people think they want one type or size of boat when another fits their needs better. Making sure they’re happy on the water, that’s the reward.”
